At JCDecaux Ireland we are extremely proud of the reputation we have built for our quality and professionalism, not just within the advertising market but with our contract partners too. In the area of public transport, we work closely with the National Transport Authority (NTA), Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC/Translink).

National Transport Authority (NTA)

In late 2016 JCDecaux were awarded the first national bus shelter advertising contract in the Republic of Ireland following a competitive tender process. The contract, beginning on 1st January 2017,  saw JCDecaux take over the advertising rights and maintenance related to over 1,800 existing bus shelters around the country. This partnership enables advertisers to reach 80% of the adult population through the JCDecaux portfolio across every city and all  major towns and villages nationwide.

Winning this contract for bus shelter advertising in Ireland is a significant development which will allow us the opportunity to deliver valuable audiences to advertisers as well as enhancing their brand communications.  Jean-François Decaux Co-CEO of JCDecaux

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)

JCDecaux has held the contract with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to provide advertising opportunities on Luas since the light rail network launched in Dublin in 2004. We have worked closely with TII during these years to develop a relationship that protects the Luas brand and passenger experience, while maximising the commercial potential of the network.

Northern Ireland Transport Holdings Company (NITHC)

In 2011 JCDecaux was awarded the contract to provide outdoor media space on behalf of the Northern Ireland Transport Holdings Company (NITHC/Translink). This portfolio includes roadside and railside 48 sheets, bridges and 6 sheets located in train and bus stations across Northern Ireland.
