Out of Home is a core media buy, especially when planning a brand relaunch or highlighting a special event.

Recently, we have seen some high-profile retail campaigns in Northern Ireland that have really stood out.

Victoria Square, Digital Retail

This month, Victoria Square celebrates its 10th Birthday. The landmark shopping centre had a busy decade, achieving £2 billion in sales across all its retailers and leisure operators since it opened in Belfast. It is marking this milestone with several events and activities, celebrating its significant contribution to the economy of Belfast and Northern Ireland. This includes a huge £10,000 worth of giveaways up for grabs throughout the month of March. To promote this, Victoria Square launched an eye-catching outdoor campaign which ran on JCDecaux’s Digital Retail, billboard and Première network ensuring their big giveaways can’t be missed.

Meanwhile, in Banbridge, The OUTLET retail park is having a makeover. The popular shopping and leisure destination is rebranding as The Boulevard. This will see the centre roll out new signage across the site in the coming months. To highlight this revamp, The Boulevard has launched a campaign throughout Belfast integrating JCDecaux’s billboard and Première formats into their media plan.

With such campaigns, Outdoor advertising is the ideal medium for audience delivery in the right time and place. 84% of Northern Irish shoppers have seen an outdoor campaign in the past week with 46% claiming to have made a purchase in response to an outdoor campaign.
