The darker evenings and shorter days have been brightened up recently with a number of vibrant and creative Luas wraps and tram dominations. The recent launch of the green line extension means even more visibility for brands and greater connections for commuters, especially in the run up to Christmas; one of the busiest times of the year in Dublin city centre

Included in this mix was an unmissable campaign for Pigsback, who used a tram domination, Luas shelter wrap and Luas columns to great effect. The opening of the new Victoria’s Secret store on Grafton street was announced with the first ever Luas tram top. Lifestyle Sports displayed their #trainercentral campaign on a Luas tram side and Nivea encouraged commuters to ‘face the city’ with a striking tram domination. In the run-up to Christmas we then saw a festive Christmas cracker of a full tram wrap for LIDL (winner of November’s Campaign of the Month), 7up used a tram side to promote ‘Christmas your way’. Even a certain bear hopped on board with a Luas tram side for the release of Paddington 2. Coca-Cola’s iconic ‘holidays are coming’ campaign also came to town on a tram side, and Heineken planned an innovative tram centre to mark the launch of Luas Cross city with a clever play on the red and green lines coming together to get Luas Commuters home safely.

Luas full and partial tram wraps and tram dominations continue to provide an excellent canvas for brands to connect with audiences in Dublin City centre. For more information on Luas advertising opportunities please contact sales@jcdecaux.ie
