It’s not often we get it this good, so many people across Ireland will make the most of the great weather this weekend and spend it outdoors.

Commenting in today’s paper Failte Ireland spokesperson Louise Tolerton said: "Good weather means there will be more people at outdoor attractions and more spending -- which is good news for businesses."

There are so many great outdoor attractions and festivals across the country. In Dublin, you can hop on the Luas to the Phoenix Park, or into St. Stephen’s Green or the beautiful Iveagh Gardens. This weekend sees the launch of Link Culturefest in Smithfield, right on the Luas Red Line. Hire a dublinbike and take a leisurely cycle around the city and stop off at the Dublin City Soul Festival in Merrion Square this weekend.

There are 82 Blue Flag beaches and marinas across Ireland, north and south, and with temperatures hotter than the Mediterranean, now is the perfect time to explore our wonderful attractions.
