The Green Awards recognise and reward business commitment to sustainability, leadership, innovation and best green practice in Ireland. The 2024 awards took place in Dublin on 27th February and showcased entries by a multitude of companies in 29 categories.
This award called on companies to demonstrate sustainable practice in all aspects of running their business. JCDecaux Ireland achieved the Green Award for steps we have taken across our business to reduce our impact on the environment, including recycling and waste management, our work with local suppliers, use of sustainable materials and our commitment to energy and water efficiency and conserving bio-diversity. JCDecaux’s dublinbikes scheme was also acknowledged by the Green Awards judges for providing a sustainable transport option in Dublin city and our charity partnerships and civic information programmes were accredited for giving back to the community and supporting the local economy.
Winning a Green Award is a huge achievement for the whole team in JCDecaux Ireland and reinforces our commitment to our sustainability goals.
