ALDI – Shanghai Metro

Advertiser: Aldi

Location: Shanghai

Dates: July 2017

To promote its entry in China and improve the brand awareness among Chinese consumers, German supermarket chain Aldi collaborated with STDecaux to install three interactive games along the wall gallery of Xujiahui Station. Each digital wall, consisting of nine LCD screens, was divided into 3 areas, allowing 3 commuters to play the game at one time. The “Handpick Challenge”, in line with Aldi’s slogan “handpicked for you”, invited commuters to connect to Aldi wifi, scan the QR code and begin the challenge. They could control the machine via their mobile phone to pick the nuts on the screen. Those who successfully picked the nuts received online Aldi shopping coupons.

OptiVision – Lisbon & Oporto

Advertiser: OptiVision

Location: Oporto and Lisbon

Dates: 27th April – 4th may 2017

OptiVision recently launched a campaign aimed to raise awareness for eye vision impairments such as myopia, astigmatism and farsightedness. For this to happen, transparent vinyl was glued over the glass of the 6 sheet format, meaning any passerby saw the street on the other side of the mupi with a "filter", giving the feeling of blur – a similar effect to how someone with an eye vision impairment may see it.
