Quality

Standards make an enormous and positive contribution to most aspects of our lives. They ensure desirable characteristics of products and services such as quality, environmental friendliness, safety, reliability and efficiency.

In 1996 JCDecaux became the first media company in Ireland to gain ISO:9001 quality accreditation (Internation Organisation for Standardisation) and we continue to be the only Irish media owner to hold this award.

ISO forms an integral part of the day-to-day structure within JCDecaux. All sections of our business operate a flowchart system of procedures. Our business is quality and customer focused. We follow a rigorous system of internal and external audits which results in our system and procedures being improved on a continuous basis.

In 2009 JCDecaux was one of the first Irish companies to be successfully audited under the revised quality standard IS/EN/ISO 9001:2008.

Notably, dublinbikes was the first JCDecaux bike rental scheme worldwide to gain ISO:9001 accreditation.
