LUAS NEWS

Vodafone Tram Wrap

This Christmas, for the first time ever, two Luas trams have been wrapped with striking Vodafone Christmas creative - a unique media first created by Vodafone, JCDecaux and Carat, in conjunction with the Railway Procurement Agency.
The design is festive in theme, incorporating both Irish and English in the seasonal messages of goodwill.  The trams which are hugely impactful began running on both the red and green lines from the first weekend in November.
According to Pat Mannion, Commercial Director of JCDecaux, the tram design is based around the Grafton Street Christmas lights and the people of Dublin enjoying the unique experience that the city centre brings this time of year.  “Luas has in a very short space of time embedded itself into the fabric of Dublin city, and bringing the trams to life like this at Christmas time by using the city and the people of Dublin just enhances that relationship even further”.

JNOR NEWS

Cafas version 20 is coming soon!

The highly anticipated JNOR (Joint National Outdoor Research) results for Metropoles, Metropanels and Luas Columns are due out in the New Year. This will be the first time the audience measurement tool can be applied to the new Dublin city street furniture and Luas network, adding to the overall measurability of the Irish Out of Home industry.

Considering 100% of Metropoles, Metropanels and Luas Columns are backlit and locations of the new street furniture cover all major commuter routes and pedestrian areas of the city, JNOR is sure to confirm outstanding audience levels on these premium JCDecaux formats

Dye Cut Columns

Coty used Dye Cut printing on Luas columns to promote Kylie’s new perfume during the month of October. Certain parts of the creative were cut out to allow light to shine through, this was the first time Dye Cut technique was used on Luas columns and the effect was eye-catching and extremely effective.
